Gloss black hood stripes out there?

Used Hot Rod Black on Solid Gold. Not Too shiny and not too flat. Best of both worlds. Confuse them!
I am in agreement with this. When I had my stripes added back in '85 (the 1st time I owned this car) the paint guy used a satin finish. It looked great. If I were to do mine over again today I'd use the Hot Rod Black.

I agree. Only thing I don't like about my car is the auto tranny. Love the organisol hood stripes though.........

If my car had the hood treatment I would have gone flat, but I won't think any less of you if you go gloss :acme: :jester:

What exactly is hot rod black? Advantages?
Its got a dull finish but its not porous like the original paint, Google it and look at some cars painted with it
