I used satin urethene on the hood of my '75 RR. It is very forgiving when I get to close to the edge with wax, and it has the flat appearance that I like. I am sold on it. I think it is the best of both worlds.

Are those 15 inch 500 wheels you have on your green ride? I had the poverty look going but that is one sexy side view!!

They borrowed the color on mine from Chevy.

Best thing I've found for cleaning the hood or hood stripes are a good horse hair shoe brush and Armor All cleaner and then finish it with Pledge or Armor All low gloss protectant....

Yup - Magnum 500's all around. 15x7 up front and 15x8 out back. The Magnum is my favorite wheel on the 68-69 runners but I like the Rallye just a bit more on the 70's.

Looks kinda like Rallye Green - maybe just a bit darker - judging by the pic in your avatar...

I've always liked Rallye Green on RRs... :thumbsup:
