wiring question

Look into classic industries and their are many more like Summit racing I think has some. So search the internet. Also. Their are many company's to supply what you need. So someone here might have a better choice of suppliers. Russ.

I just do not trust the wire harness I have I am not making my Roadrunner 100% factory I want a Dailey driver

I here that. I have modified my car with A/C. Also went with 2and half inch recurved leaf spring six leaf. Put bucket seat's in it and console. But other than that nothing else. If you are concerned about the wiring then check around. Of course check around on the net for the best price. Here it comes Classic industries would check with summit also. Would contact Mr Mopar also. Their are many out their that supply new wiring for our runner's. What I have looks good inside but around the motor is kind of brittle so will buy that part only I think you never know what I will do from one day to the next. Russ.

Number of companies can help you out. I personally like haywire. Have used their systems on several cars. They happen to be local for me and have been great people to deal with

There is a lot of different circuit types wire harness what circuit amount harness do I need?

Just to say when you are adding a lot of power draw product's then need more circuit's. Like electric radiator fan and other stuff. I would figure over stock and supply is a demand. So would require another circuit. It is like these guy's put high powered amp in for sound need another circuit. Of course then you need a different alternator to give the power also. So I am staying pretty much stock. Will have a defrost fan for the rear window but believe their was a circuit for that. If not you can put an add on block in any time. As long as you don't go over the wire size furnishing the original block. Russ.

First think about what accessories you may have on your rr. Power seats, windows, locks, fans, fuel pumps, etc. then call haywire and walk through it with Denny. He’ll get it figured out for you

I am not a clutch fan. I like direct drive on a cooling fan. Just my opinion. That is the way I will set up my car.

And I need a gas gauge or a way to fix one I have 2 that do not work

I see classic industries has them for 69_70 B body. cost 100 dollars and the shipping is extra. From CA. I ordered gas line clips and the shipping was almost as much as the clips cost. I try to buy things closer to Fl. Don't know where you are but. Have replaced the limiter or checked the sending unit. Maybe clean the ground on the sending unit. You can check the fuel gage with a resistor and 12 volt to it. Or check with a local mechanic. Your runner buddy Russ.

Yes, those can be redone better than new. Comb the wires out and untwist and loop the cables, no 90 degree corners, retain tape that still sticks lol. As long as the wire insulation is supple/flexible. After Navy service worked at a place that made sonobuoys for the Navy P3 Orion’s. Learned how to build aircraft harness wiring- it’s at another level for certain. Any soldering and you had to still be able to see the individual wire strands.

Don’t forget fuel gauges/senders work through the grounded side of the grid only. Don’t want 12VDC positive sitting in fuel tank....

Too, was in the Navy and Army, so it doesn’t make any difference who wins the football games to me. Did retire Army(R) though. Incase any ambiguity with prior posts. Neighbor asked me once; I was wearing ships ball cap “thought you were in the Army”. A real rocket scientist.

Forgot, the worst part of the harnesses is the main plug that connects through fire wall; can get corroded and intermittent continuity you can not locate. They do get subjective to weathering also.
