Looking to restore the dash switch bezel on my 69 ... can anyone share any tips and tricks on how they did theirs without having to send out?
Also, is there any reason why this particular piece would have a round circle with a radio fader balance metal overlap piece- most of the bezels I've...
Hello,
Looking at replacing/upgrading the cables on my 69 RR. Google searching has yet to provide concrete info on the battery lengths nor gauge. Does anyone have that info readily available to share? And if the ends are round or square?

Hello,
I'm looking for info/confirmation what the factory color was for the air cleaner top; I've read that it was not hemi orange in color? Is anyone able to confirm if this is the case and if so, what the proper color should be?
Thanks,
Ian
Interesting. Attached fender tag picture indicates a21 (though I would rather the numbers were reversed like yours). This bears more investigation; I'll have to read up on the light package to see what it includes and compare to what icon the vehicle. Thanks for the response. Ian
Hello,
Trying to determine what this fender tag code refers to equipment-wise; I’m unable to locate any information on this code that pertains to a b-body. Can anyone should some light on what this code might refer to.
Thanks.

Hello,
Have a 69 RR with factory a/c that has been retrofitted with an air grabber system. Has anyone installed an aftermarket intake that works with an air grabber and a/c setup? If so, which intake and any special modifications that need to be done?

So the super turbo mufflers (17747)are on ... relatively quiet at idle ... very noticeable sound up to 1800rpm then quiets down until you get into the throttle. With 3.91 gears the car doesn’t spend much time under 1800rpm ...So Perfect for this guy.
Resurrecting an old thread...
69hemibeep- in search of new mufflers for my bird...did you go with the Super Turbo mufflers? If so, can you recall the model number you had installed?

Problem resolved with the 3rd voltage regulator we tried- a solid state version was the ticket.
Next up a/c plus heater core repairs could have used the a/c today... shouldn’t complain though ... nothing like Florida or Az weather in the summer. Thanks all for the suggestions.

2nd field on the alternator was grounded as it should been initially; unfortunately this yields no success with battery charging. This is getting frustrating but it will get figured out eventually.
Russ,
Not functional as of yet- comedy of errors. To make a long story short, it's installed but not working. I need to re-install a brush into the second field then ground that field with a wire to an altenator bolt. A task for later today.

As the title indicates, the alternator ( both new and old) does not charge the battery. A quick multimeter test of the battery indicates 12.6 volts. However, starting the vehicle and rechecking the battery shows only 12.2v. Of particular interest, checking alternator yields a reading of 0v...
