You’re absolutely correct, Russ. The spare would serve just to get her home or to the first place that could fix or replace the tire. Nice chatting with you too.
Thanks for the post Russ69Runner. For the spare I am going to try a more narrow tire of a similar diameter as the 275-60 on a stock rim to protect the sure grip. Hopefully, it will work on the front during turns too.
Hello fellow RoadRunner fanatics. I hope this is the right section to post this. My wife has given me a set of Coker 15-7 4.25 offset (front) and 15-8 4.5 offset (rear) OEM style steel wheels for my RoadRunner for our 50th wedding anniversary. If I could get some advice on tire sizes that will...
SgtLee511, thanks so much for your reply. The information will help a great deal. I am very happy to hear that it may not be as bad as it looks, because it looks UGLY!! I have a rotisserie, but my car is a long way from being strong enough to go on it. Not only will I be doing the front rail (I...
Hi, I am going to have to do the exact same operation to my '69 Road Runner. My left front frame rail is toast. Is there any advice, recommendations or warnings you can share for when I tackle it this summer? I am going to order a new one from AMD (along with about $4500.00 worth of other body...
I am starting work on my '69 right now that will look identical to the picture above sans the white stripe and the red lines. I like your taste in cars!

I know this is an old thread and this question has nothing to do with it, but I must ask, I absolutely love that blue on your Runner. Would that happen to be B7 buy any chance? I have a T3 Runner that I would like to make blue when it is finished.
Thanks, 69runner
Ah yes, another great passion of mine: ariplanes. Specifically World War II war birds. The P-51 Mustang is my favorite. (I have an RC version of one.) Favorite non WWII aircraft would be the SR-71 Blackbird. Got to watch one fly in person once, what a site! Thanks for sharing the pics.
If only that were possible. If only enough American sheeple thought that way maybe that could be done. What a great thing for America that would be. Good luck taking all that power away from those progressive dirt bags. I would lend my support to make it happen.
Head lights take full battery voltage. If your lights are of the proper size for your Runner they are probably 12 volt lamps, so you would hook them to a 12 volt battery. A 6 volt head light would likely be much larger than your Runner takes.
