2,000 yards with Savage 110 BA.

Went out west with my boys and did bucket list thing. Shot 2,000 yards. Started at 1,000, went 1,500, 1760 and 2,000. :) This was the 1st hit at 2,000.

And they picked.................. a Road Runner

Thought this was pretty cool. Went to our local cruise last night. There was a total of 302 cars. At the end they asked if I could pull up front so they could award me with car of the week. My car is far from the nicest, there were some really clean cars there. However, they said it was because...

    1,000 yard target cam

Did some practice w/ my son last weekend for up coming match. Once he dialed the wind, had some nice hits. Last 3 shots were about 10" group, or 1 MOA at 1,000. Target cams are fun! :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lN77evvJFsU

    600 yard F/TR match

Did our 1st match of the year a 600. My son won 1st in Jr. class and 10th overall. He did really well considering the talent on this one. Seems the long winter and cabin fever brought out some really talented marksman. Cool seeing my son compete w/ them.

Got 383 dialed in - test drive

Finally got a chance to work the bugs out of my carb on the Roadrunner I bought. Car is very nice and original but at some point, a Holley Street Avenger 670 was installed. No offense to anyone out there, but I hate these carbs. A correct carb will go on this winter. The car had all the typical...

Match 1,000 yards in the wind

Thought some mike like this. My son (who I posted before) did his 3rd ever 1,000 yard match last weekend. This one however, was the worst conditions we could have been in. T-storm came in and when we we got there, you could not see the targets from the firing line. After the storm, it was wind...

    383 (stock) w/ stock mufflers

Anyone got a Youtube vid of a stock 383 with factory mufflers? Just about every video I can find has aftermarket mufflers and/or cam. I have a bone stock 383 and the previous owner (or before) put Flowmasters on the car. I want to replace w/ the stock mufflers but want to hear them first.

    14 years old - 1,100 yards

Thought some might like this. I enjoy long distance shooting like NHRA Drag Racing and classic cars. My 14 year old son (don't be fooled, he's one of the best marksmen I know, and that's including ex military buddy's and family) made his longest shot few weeks ago. He has 20/10 vision in his...

Glad to see this forum here.

Just joined and posted my RR yesterday. My other love is long distance shooting. My oldest son competes in F class and I coach and do his loading. My dream is to go to one of the next matches driving the RR.

Factory Mopars - From a kids perspective

As promised in my introductory thread, here are some neat cars/stories from when I was a kid. My Dad worked at Chrysler from 1966-1972 (probably the best years, performance wise) and then we moved in 1972. Strangely enough, my Dad had a different view on cars as my brothers and I. He was a...

    Tempest 455 Intro

Was born in Detroit Dad worked at Chrysler in the 60's-70's. I can't count how many Mopars we had when I was a kid. Had pretty much 1 of everything at some point. The street we lived on pretty much everyone worked for the big 3 auto mfg's. So I have fond memories of all kinds of cars from when I...
