The build from the beginning . Some of these pictures have been seen over in the Introduce yourself forum, and over in the pictures forum. I re-posted them all here in the projects forum along with several new pictures you haven't seen ,so there would be a complete record of the build from beginning to end . Please make comments if you like . Anything positive or constructive is welcome , its all a learning experience to me . Thanks , Tom.

Yes , the car will be painted blue , but not be B7 {Jamaica Blue} .The color is called Blue Granite Metallic ,its a Chevrolet color , you see it all the time on there Chevy Silverado and Tahoe's .I think that color with the black vinyl top and black stripes will look pretty good . I took the liberty of doing a little body work on the fire wall and shock towers to remove some of the factory wrinkles in the sheet metal :witless:

If you saw it up close you would see that it needed new paint , new headliner ,inside door panels ,carpet ,vinyl roof didn't look to bad except for the rust hiding under the vinyl at the windshield posts , headers and exhaust deffenety showing there age radiator shot needed new breaks, so on and so on . At least all the floor pans are good ,fenders and quarter panels too.

I have a lot more pictures to post , but loading them is slow going for some reason . I've never posted pictures on a forum before so I guess its going to take a while to figure it all out , but I'll keep at it because its important to me to document my roadrunner on this forum . Keep watching for the next batch of pics .
Thanks , Tom.

the headliner comes first

I know there are quite a few pictures of the headliner and vinyl top project but I'm particularly proud of the way they turned out. Never done anything like this before and I must admit I was a bit nervous and anxious to say the least .Believe me when I say I would of been happy to pay a professional to do it for me . There is absolutely no one in the area that does this sort of thing anymore. So as usual I turned to you-tube for the answers and with a little patience I was able to pull it off . So if you need to replace your headliner or vinyl top , I say go for it , if I can do it so can you ! Some guy in southern Vt who installed one or two in his lifetime said he would do it for a small fortune. I figured for what he wanted I could screw it up three times and still come out ahead .
