Man, every time I see that car of yours I'm reminded of the Commandment "Thou Shalt Not Covet". And it gets harder and harder to resist the more I see that bronze beauty.

Fenders on, steering wheel on- glass (front and rear) to go in Monday! Hood to fitted Monday, also. Shop is closed on week-ends. Note: That flex hose is not staying. The script hose I bought did not fit. Had to order another. (different one) .Right #'s, wrong hose? Probably, somewhere in China, some a**hole is laughing his a** off! Nothing is easy.

Well! That's the problem!! I don't know about you, but I can't make heads nor tails out of the Chinese language, :brickwall: so I imagine that they can't read ours either!!! Another reason to bring that stuff back here to make it.

My original hood was junk. Bought a used hood, repaired it, fitted it with the fenders and grill, and thought that was it. Came to find out later (into the resto), this one had issues also with the "oil can" effect in the middle. The structure underneath was kinda' weak. So, a new repo hood was bought. It just never came out of the box until the other day when the fenders were going on. Getting the V21 treatment on it. They had to do a little massaging on it right out of the box, then primed it. It should be done this week. So, I guess, it's a liitle out of order now. These pics were shot Nov. 9,2009. Too bad, that's actually a light gray!
