Seems like this car dodged some bullets. There where people trying to buy it as a parts car out here before I bought it. Glad it got/has been saved

Been busy lately but got time yesterday to drop the gas tank. It's definitely getting replaced it's crushed pretty good. Shame water got into the trunk otherwise this trunk floor probably wouldn't have any cancer in it.

I love how the whole frame and under body of the car has that undercoating. Chip it off and you get a nice black with green overspray.

Haha Yeah I was looking at it thinking it looks good but then I remembered how the other side is. It's way thin though since it rusted from the inside out. I'll grab some pictures from the inside in a bit.

Its severely pitted with pinholes poking through. Trunk floors aren't to expensive and I wouldn't mind having the peace of mind of some new metal

a buddy let me get parts off a '68 Charger that had been sitting for ages, and the top of the gas tank was gone as well. It's weird how some cars rust, and some don't. My runner came from Michigan, and when the 1/4s came off, the rear wheel houses were beautiful. would never guess the car came from around here.

Mine was rust free....
The bad part is this rust was found after I had the car "restored" the first time...

Yeah I was thinking of doing it myself. Or sending it out to a specialty place and have them make it ready to put in and run. Most of the parts are there on it.

since your dash is apart....do yourself a HUGH favor and replace the master cylinder. It is a large PIA to do it with the dash in place.

I did own that car now that I look at it closely.
