I have it written down somewhere. I just moved and I even looked for it and no luck.

It's all good. If you ever come across it it'd be awesome if you could PM it to me or something. Wouldn't mind trying to do a little more recon work on the car

Put in a good nights worth of work.
Took a picture about half way through the prep work

Finished with the rust bullet lastnight. Phone died cause I was listening to music working on the car forever. So went out this morning and snapped a couple pictures before covering her up for the rest of the weekend.

Nothing like being cooped up in a car wearing a respirator filled with rust dust for awhile.

I did it with more then a couple hours of this guy
photo8hgfll.jpg

Then wiped it all clean with some mineral spirits

Then went over it all with 2-3 coats of Rust Bullet

I see on so many restorations they leave out doing the roof interior by just covering it up with the headliner. I'm not a fan of that and I want to get every little bit I can get. I couldn't look at the car knowing I left that part out. Figured now's the best time to get it done so I don't have to worry about ruining my pretty interior when I get it done.
Next on my list is pulling the front window out so I can get that Dash out of the way. Then I'll get started on the floor. Probably gonna rust bullet it then rhino lite it after it dries. But I got a spot or two to patch in the floor. Might just go with a new passenger front floor pan. Maybe not I'll find out. There pretty cheap so I figure I might as well.

Am I missing any pieces to my brake/clutch assembly?

Put the window back in when I was done just so the interior of the car isn't out in the open. No cancer or any real pitting in the whole firewall area. So just gotta clean it all up and give it the same treatment as the roof.

how's the front end metal look? usually under the battery rots some, and mice love to make nests inside the frame

The front end metal itself is solid. Super solid not even rust in the battery tray area. The inner fenders are both crinkled in like they've been in an accident. yet they look fine. It's weird I'll snap a picture

let me guess...the top of the driver's inner fender, between the battery to the hood hinge is wrinkled?

Both drivers and passengers. i just got some pictures. I'll load em up in a second. I'm pretty sure they've been replaced at one point

Pulled the engine and tranny today. Both for $100.. more or less just wanted it gone and out of the car. Guy said it was going in his challenger after he bores it out to a 390.

Re: Finally bought myself a 69 Roadrunner project. My dream

Well got to work removing the inner fenders and when I couldnt find any spot welds I started getting a little frustrated. That's when I looked and saw the whole piece had a bunch of weld beads holding it together. Somebody did some shotty ass work on this front end. They didnt even clamp the metal together tight when they welded it together.
photo4yh.jpg

So off to work I went with a pry bar and grinder.

I dont know what to do with this piece above. It's obviously been taken off then rewelded on judging by the big gap in the metal. Guess I might have to remove it and put it on the right way? any insight on how.
photo9ry.jpg

Also dont really know what to do about this yet. Someone hacked it up
Since the other side looks normal

Also attempted to straighten out the front of the frame rail. Got it more less where it needs to be. But I think I might just replace both sides about 6 inches back. Do they make replacement frame rails for the front?
