Are you drop the body over the engine/trans or drop the goods in from the top?????

Looks like it's going in from the bottom to me...that is the easiest way if you have never tried it...and the way Ma MoPar did it BTW.

Those valve covers are gonna leak if you don't fix those holes... :lmao:

Looking good, Bob! I'm with Gary. Party at Bob's on Initial Fire-Up day. An "I.F.U." party...

Here is one scary job, doing the blackout on the support with new paint

That looks great Bob. But, better you then me doing that after a fresh paint job. With my luck I check it 10 times to make sure there were no gaps in the masking, and there it would be when I thought I was finished! Black where it don't belong. My guess is that the fridge door stayed closed untill you were finished!

No overspray so I'm on my way to the fridge. I was pretty careful I bagged the whole car

I may be wrong, but shouldn't there be paint on the inner fender below the headlight? You can see that through the slot on the filler panel under the grille.

that's all ya got done?????? :D Man I'd be scared to death of scratchng something.

John I got the info from a thread on moparts some time back they had Chrysler info according to the A12 gurus. I will double check here was one example

Wow. What a difference. I never gave much thought to the radiator support and headlight buckets. Mine was painted back in 1993 at a Mopar friendly shop. Guess I'll need to update mine during this little job that I'm doing.

Yep, I remember seeing that now.

I gave that photo of the brown car to my painter as reference for my blackout. I also had a Chrysler bulletin for 70 E body blackouts which were probably the same areas. Sorry, I don't have ANY pics of my blackout.

At the time they posted a black and white tech bulletin but it was better in color
