I have new window felt (catwhiskers) that I'm getting ready to install. My question is, the rear inside felt looks like it was originally installed with a type of staple and I was wondering what some of ya'll did to reinstall the felt.
Does anyone know what the fasteners look like and where you can get them for the parking light assembly. I'm guessing they're some type of nut that push into the square holes on the bumper. Its a 69.
I have a minor problem, the sheetmetal plates on the underside of the hood that come in contact with the hood bumpers. With the hood open they look like they can go on vertical or horizontal. I need to put them back on and want to do it right, a pic would help alot if ya'll know the area I'm...
I know ya'll know the answer to this, cause I remember reading it on here. I looked in the tech stuff section but couldn't find it. Anyway which side marker housing goes where, deep housing up front or rear? Thanks.:confusion:
I'm missing the muffler hanger on the drivers side. I ordered one and its a bolt on piece, and the passenger side is welded on. The drivers side does have the holes for a bolt on so I'm guessing thats they way they came? Is this correct? I have some pics for reference.
I'm getting ready to paint some interior parts on my car and was wondering about the finish on some. I believe the dash has a pretty flat finish, but the top of the doors, are they gloss? or semi-gloss. I was thinking about just doing everything in semi-gloss but would like to know what is...
Does anybody know about how much a 69 Roadrunner weighs thats just a shell? It doesn't have anythihg on it at all, anything thats bolted on was removed. I was wondering about the weight for my wheels on my chassis support. The ones I had on my e-body don't seem to hold up for the b-body which...
I'm getting ready to remove my steering column on my 69 RR and wondering how to remove the horn ring. I'm guessing the center cap pops out, but not sure so I figured I'd ask you guys before I destroy something. The horn ring is the one with the beep beep Roadrunner cartoon in the center. :beep:
I'm trying to remove the vent window assm., out of the doors. Its a 69 RR, I've removed the two forward bolts and an allen head bolt. Do I need to remove the nut on the bottom side of the door? I just don't want to remove to much and mess up my alignment for the side glass. Thanks.
Any vin code experts out there? I've got some codes off my 69 RR and I am wondering why are there so many color codes on the tag? Here's the second row: B5 B5 H2B B7. I know what colors B5 and B7 are, and the H2B is a blue. Also on the first row there is V1X which is the black vinyl top. So...
I want to remove my back glass out of the Roadrunner. Its been awile since I removed one so I'm looking for a little advice. I believe I can use piano wire or my sons guitar wire or just cut around the outside and inside edge with a lewis knife. What works best? Thanks.
Hello, I just joined this site and thought I would share what I found in my Runner as I am disassembling it for a resto. I suppose its no big deal, but intresting or odd to me. I had taken the seats out and noticed there was no visible holes for the front seat belts. The rear belts were in...
Well, guess I'm a new guy. I just purchased a 69 Roadrunner last month, but its not my first one. I had a 68 Roadrunner back in the 90's and kinda of regretted selling it. I went through a E-body phase for a while, but I think I'm over it now. :loco: I tried to post a pic of the 69, said file is...
