My 440 broke a push rod. I thought I just needed to adjust the rockers, but when I removed the valve cover I was surprised to find a rod missing.
I found the rod laying near the intake, but couldn't find the top piece. I took a telescoping magnet and fished for the top for a while without any...
I noticed that my car leaks oil. Not much...just a few drops here and there, but it's annoying.
Is this normal? My builder says it is...
I just had the oil pan gasket changed, and that's where it looks like it is coming from.
I finally got around to creating a quick video of my restoration.
I gathered a bunch of pics from along the way, and tried to put them in order.
Check it out...
My buddy Roman has been professionally restoring high-quality Mopars for a while now.
His business is called After Hours Restorations.
He's been working hard to get his business name and work out there to the Mopar community.
Check out these videos he made that document his latest...
I finally got my hands on a decent decklid. My buddy (DrMopar here on 69RR) scored a parts windfall from a local Mopar hoarder.
It came off a nicely equipped 69 Sport Satellite that burned up. Very solid, and far better than the one I started with that's on my car now.
I hope this will wrap...
Best birthday gift ever! My wife had my Road Runner “Toon’d” by Chris Kuster. Chris was in a tragic swimming accident that left him completely paralyzed. He's a talented artist that does all of his work with his mouth! He’s such an inspirational guy. I’ve wanted my car done since the moment...
I went to a Mopar exclusive car show in Toledo, Ohio today.
It was at Grogan's Towne for the 27th annual Mopar Blast. The event was organized by a local Chrysler owners group.
There were over 150 Mopars at the event. My car was entered into the 1960-69 Modified Car class.
Based on the...
I finally got to bring her home late tonight.
After several last minute issues were resolved, it's so nice to have it home. My final builder did a hell of a job dealing with the issues and getting it done. I'm very happy with the job he did.
I did experience some transmission issues...
It's getting closer. Need to wrap up some odds and ends still.
The glass will be installed tomorrow, and I hope it adjusts without too many issues.
The the rest of the interior (carpet and door panels) is next. Hope to have it home in the next week or so...
I see that Year One has a couple, but not all of the warning and information decals.
Is there a place to one-stop shop for ALL of them?
Which ones are most common on a restoration?
Anyone have pics??? Bobby??? lol
Can you tell I'm at the VERY end of my restoration?!?!?!
I'm trying to wrap up loose ends and get some last minute parts as I realize what's needed.
I cannot for the life of my find the following trim for both sides. I've checked Ebay, and cannot find a set anywhere. HELP!!!
If it's not too personal...
Who do you use? How much is it? And what coverage do you have?
I'm going to check out Hagerty and Grundy (via local agent).
I'd like to insure my car for between $50-$60k agreed upon value.
Need coverage if my garage or car sets fire, and have towing up to...
Is this the correct pattern for a trunk mat for my 69 RR vert?

I'm in need of my last part!
It's the bottom/channel/pivot section of the vent window for the drivers side. I also need the latch.
Can anyone help me or steer me in the right direction?
I know it's been covered a million times, but when I search the archives it redirects me to our old site and won't work.
I need the decal placement measurements for the doors, dash, and deck lid...PLEASE!
Although it's only about 90% done, I was able to take her for a short little spin today. I drove it around the block a few times, and racked up her first 2 miles on the clock. I took my six year old son, Nathan with me. I let him sit in the front and steer a bit, too.
We put the emblems and...
